Andrea Tieleman

Trainer

Andrea is a Personal Trainer and Group Training Coach at BAC, receiving her certification through National Academy of Sports Medicine. Andrea started out her wellness career as a yoga instructor, which was the first format of exercise she LOVED and did routinely. To further help people improve their quality of life, Andrea received her A.A.S degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant where she used corrective and rehab focused exercises to do so. During her time as a PTA, Andrea developed a greater passion for resistance training, which led her to become a certified personal trainer and started working part-time at BAC. Andrea also holds a Corrective Exercise Specialist certification by NASM and is a Level 1 Nutrition Coach certified from Clean Health to implement reverse diets, gain phases, and fat loss phases for long-term body composition goals. As a trainer, Andrea loves supporting others in their wellness journey and aims to help clients build confident bodies through strength programs and nutrition coaching. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys active activities but you can also find her sipping a good coffee and reading a great book.


I’ve been at Brooklyn Athletic Club for about 5 years now and I have had several trainers. The owner assigned Andrea to me and it has been such an easy transition. Andrea is always punctual, prepared and enthusiastic about our sessions. The workouts are challenging and thoughtful. Andrea has a background in physical therapy and really transfers that knowledge to personal training. I am inspired by her dedication to her personal fitness and strength building regimen. I will continue to recommend Andrea to my friends!
