Larry

Larry has always had a passion for health, fitness, and performance. Inspired by the fact there is a specific way to train to get a desired result, whether it be for strength, endurance, or post rehab, Larry always knew one day he'd influence the fitness industry. Brooklyn Athletic Club is the culmination of Larry's vast experience in the industry.

Paul

Paul graduated from The Swedish Institute of Health Sciences with an Associates Degree in Massage Therapy and Exercise Science in 2007 and has been working as a fitness professional ever since. Paul has developed an effective system of training and educating his clients to achieve and maintain results. Aside from training clients, Paul works to further his own knowledge and works to develop education for fellow trainers. 

Bravo

HIIT

NSCA-CPT certified, Bravo has competed in local, state, and national competitions in Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and Tae Kwon Do (2nd degree black belt). He concentrates primarily on Powerlifting and High-Intensity Interval Training. Bravo has participated in endurance events such as Goruck, Spartan Race, Tough Mudder, and other OCR events. He loves competition and pushing himself further as well as pushing his clients and making them stronger, faster, and more healthy. As a member of the USAPL, Bravo is currently competing in local and state Powerlifting competitions.  

Azuka

Azuka grew up playing baseball, basketball, and football. His love of sports and his desire to better himself eventually led him to lifting, where his passion for fitness developed info a fascination with transforming his body and heavy lifting. Azuka graduated with his Bachelor's in Exercise Science from Lehman College in order to share his passion with others.

 

Juan

A native of Williamsburg, with over ten years of experience improving the quality of human movement, Juan is an accomplished NSCA-CPT certified trainer. Internationally ranked as a gold medalist in the amateur division of the World Kettlebell Lifting Championships and certified FMS and as an EBFA barefoot training specialist, Juan is decicated to bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to his clients.

John

A Brooklyn native and US Army Veteran, John's calling to personal training came about while looking for ways to overcome his own health and medical challenges. Already a NYS licensed massage therapist in NYC since 2006, he returned to the Swedish Institute, College of Health Sciences in 2014. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Associates Degree in Exercise Science. John draws from an eclectic background in dance, choreography, military training, and massage therapy.

A Bronx native who, after having two children, embarked on a mission to better herself through fitness. What began as a personal goal quickly became a passion for health and exercise. After experiencing life changing results from weight training, she dedicated her career to help others achieve and maintain their personal fitness goals. Peggy is NSCA-CPT certified trainer and graduate from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences with an Associates Degree in Exercise Science.

Tyler

Tyler graduated from Appalachian State University in North Carolina with a degree in Exercise Science and is CSCS and NSCA-CPT certified. A former D-1 football player with a sports performance background, he primarily explores movement and gymnastic progressions alongside weightlifting. Tyler's wide range of experience, education, and training approaches gives him a unique and proven system to offer others.
