Semi-Private Session

Strength X

Wednesdays

7pm - 8pm

Saturdays

This class will begin with a strength focus utilizing the power rack for heavy barbell lifts. This will lead into very challenging conditioning circuits following the movement pattern from the strength lifts. Get ready to be smoked! Strength X is open to all SPT members, but it is strongly recommended that you participate in both Strength and Level 2 GT to acquaint yourself with barbell movements and raise your conditioning intensity.

DVRT Burn

Tuesdays & Thursdays

6:30pm - 7:30pm

DVRT Burn combines Dynamic Variable Resistance Training with primal (animal) movement patterns.  DVRT implements unstable objects  (Ultimate Sandbag, slosh pipes, etc.) with asymmetrical loading to develop hip and trunk stability (both make up the core) as well as the upper and lower extremities. The advantage of DVRT is its ability fix "strength leaks" and improve stability in positions and planes movement where most people are weak. Primal movements are ground based multi planar movements that improve coordination, agility flexibility, strength along with injury repair and prevention- not to mention a huge caloric burn!

BAC is now offering Semi Private Training sessions taught by founder and Master Trainer Larry Betz. This new class is titled "Hard To Kill" because, and we quote professional strength coach Mark Rippetoe, "Strong people are harder to kill than weak people...and more useful in general." Level 2 Group Training will be a prerequisite for this class. The first rule about HTK is no one can talk about HTK...until you leave HTK then please tell all your friends. The sessions will be broken down into four 15 minute blocks devoted to several different fitness qualities.

Block 1 - Explosive Power/ Speed work and/or movements in multiple planes of motion.

Block 2 - Our primary compound lift- developing Strength

Block 3 - Accessory work with the goal of adding strength and muscle

Block 4 - The finisher, a combination of sprinting, rowing, farmer carries, truck tier and an assortment of odd objects making the client's ultimately...Hard To Kill!
