Get out of sweater weather mode and prepare for the sunshine, which calls for beachwear and barbecues that demand healthier choices on your end. Below are some easy tips to get motivated this spring!
Choose a workout partner that's going to motivate you to be the best version of yourself. Someone who is at a similar fitness level, with similar goals and flexible schedule so you can plan around one another, whether it be food shopping, cooking healthy meal prep together or joining the BAC as a pair for small group training sessions!
CREATE A PRIZE TO KEEP YOUR EYES ON
Sign up for an event to have a future goal to keep you motivated and on track. Your registration alone will hold you accountable. It doesn't have to be for PR's alone, but something slightly competitive will keep you focused and motivated for sure.
Hold yourself accountable with inspiring reminders to stay on track and keep moving forward towards your own personal fitness goals. Whether it be your printed registration for a half marathon race you've committed to this summer, or post-its telling yourself to suck it up and go to the gym, do what works for you and stay motivated.
STOP BEING BORED
Boredom is one of the major reasons people fall off the fitness wagon. Having the same fitness regime that never changes up is like watching a movie on repeat 100 times, it just doesn't have the same effect or excitement and you'll want to get up and do something else instead. Find new ways to stay motivated by trying new programs or hiring a trainer to help you create something customized for your body type to challenge you.
